Middlesbrough's six-match winning home streak came to an end with a 0-0 draw at home to Brighton.

The Teessiders dropped to fourth in the Sky Bet Championship with the goalless stalemate and will face fifth-placed Brentford in the play-off semi-finals.

The last league game of the league campaign was very much an anti-climax in front of a bumper Riverside crowd, with the 33,381 attendance being Boro's biggest of the season.

They were given a great start when Chow marked his full debut with the opening goal midway through the first period.

Brighton came back into it after the break and deservedly levelled through Dale Stephens.
