Bournemouth will wait on goalkeeper Artur Boruc before naming their side to face Brighton.

The Cherries have enjoyed one of the most memorable week's in their history having thumped Birmingham 8-0 before making history with their first Capital One Cup quarter-final appearance, secured thanks to a midweek win over Premier League West Brom.

But Pole Boruc sustained a knock to his knee in that emphatic victory over Blues and is being monitored by the club's medical staff in the build up to kick-off.

Tottenham's squad rotation key for Mauricio Pochettino

Erik Lamela opened the scoring for Tottenham after coming on as a substitute in the second half.

Mauricio Pochettino insists Harry Kane must remain patient despite the striker scoring once again as Tottenham saw off Brighton in the Capital One Cup fourth-round clash.

The 21-year-old now has seven goals for the season but has yet to be handed a start in the Premier League, despite outscoring both Emmanuel Adebyaor and Roberto Soldado in all competitions.

Two second-half goals from Erik Lamela and Harry Kane gave Spurs a much-needed win after the weekend's lacklustre performance in the Premier League against Newcastle. Despite the eventual ease of victory, this was never a wholly convincing display by a Spurs team up against a very mediocre Brighton side. Yet again Spurs looked sluggish and predictable in their build-up and missing an attacking edge up front.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino might have complained midweek that Spurs' problems stemmed...

Erik Lamela opens the scoring for Spurs.

Tottenham secured safe passage into the last eight of the Capital One Cup with an unconvincing 2-0 victory against out-of-form Brighton on largely uninspiring night at White Hart Lane.

This was just a fourth win in all competitions since August for Mauricio Pochettino's side but they made heavy weather of progressing into the quarter-finals as substitute Erik Lamela and top goalscorer Harry Kane struck in the second half to see off their Sky Bet Championship opponents.

With only two league wins...
