The Bantams, currently owned by joint chairmen Mark Lawn and Julian Rhodes, will reveal more details of the deal next week.

The city's Bradford Telegraph and Argus newspaper has claimed the two investors are Edin Rahic and Stefan Rupp.

Lee Gregory kept Millwall on course for an immediate return to the Championship.

The striker bagged his 27th goal of the season to set the Lions on their way to a 4-2 aggregate win over Bradford in the play-off semi-final.

Jamie Proctor made it 1-1 on the night just before half-time, but Bradford failed to stage a second-half revival.

Millwall boss Neil Harris, who could not save them from the drop last year, now has the chance to secure promotion in his first full season in charge.

Football League proposal met with backlash by lower-division clubs

Bradford would vote against the Football League's proposal for a new structure.

Bradford's joint chairman Mark Lawn has branded the Football League's proposals to introduce a fifth division to the English professional ranks as "ridiculous."

The league wants to create four divisions of 20 teams below the Premier League in time for the 2019-20 season, increasing the number of professional clubs in England from 92 to 100, but Lawn is vehemently opposed to the plan.

"We've had this structure for years because it has suited the majority of clubs, so why change it?" Lawn told Press...

Millwall took a big step towards Wembley by coming from behind to win 3-1 at Bradford in the first leg of their Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final.

First-half goals from Lee Gregory, Steve Morison and Joe Martin turned the tie in the Lions' favour ahead of Friday's return game after the Bantams had taken the lead through Tony McMahon's early penalty.

There was a raucous atmosphere inside Valley Parade all afternoon, although it was temporarily subdued ahead of kick-off by an emotional minute-long...

Bradford wound up the regular Sky Bet League One season with a richly deserved 2-0 win over 10-man Chesterfield in front of a bumper 20,807 crowd.

The Bantams, who recorded a seventh successive home win, will meet fourth-placed Millwall in the play-offs after they won at Gillingham.

Wales Under-21 international Lee Evans put the Bantams in front after seven minutes with a superb 25-yard left foot volley after Tony McMahon's shot had been deflected into his path.

Evans, on loan from Wolves, featured...
