Swansea sign teenage striker Ollie McBurnie from Bradford

Ollie McBurnie has moved to Swansea from Bradford after loan spells at Chester.

Swansea have signed teenage striker Ollie McBurnie from Bradford for an undisclosed fee.

McBurnie, 19, who made only four senior starts for Bradford, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal and will join the Swans' development squad.

"I'm really excited about getting started," McBurnie told Swansea's official website. "I've known about the interest for a little while now but it all got finalised pretty quickly and the hard work starts now.

"I'm thankful for everything that Bradford has done for...

Crewe's Sky Bet League One safety was sealed on the final day of the season for the second campaign running, even though they fell to a 1-0 loss against Bradford.

Billy Clarke's winner consigned Steve Davis' men to defeat but with Notts County, Crawley and Leyton Orient all unable to win elsewhere, Alex booked another stint in the third tier.

The hosts were served a warning when Christopher Routis' sweetly-struck half volley flew over the crossbar after 22 minutes and one minute later they were behind.

Bradford ended their run of five matches without a win with a 1-0 victory over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley on a emotional day at Valley Parade.

As is the custom at Bradford's last home match of the season, there was a minute's silence in memory of the 56 people who died in the Valley Parade fire 30 years ago on May 11 and wreaths were also laid in the centre circle by captains Stephen Darby and Martin Cranie.

England manager Roy Hodgson and Football Association chairman Greg Dyke also attended the match...

Scunthorpe are on the verge of League One survival after they drew 1-1 with Bradford at Glanford Park.

With Notts County and Leyton Orient both losing, a win would have confirmed the Iron's presence in the third tier next season, but Billy Clarke's goal, which cancelled out Gary McSheffrey's opener, means they still need a point to be certain.

Jon Stead's ninth-minute shot, straight at Iron keeper Luke Daniels, was the first of any note, before Gary Liddle cracked a shot over the hosts' bar.

Sheffield United took a step close to the play-offs following a 1-1 draw at home to Yorkshire rivals Bradford.

Jason Holt put the hosts in front just before the hour but they had to settle for a point following Billy Clarke's equaliser late in the game.

Bradford made a bright start with Andy Halliday putting a first-time shot narrowly wide and then Clarke slipping a good ball through to James Hanson whose effort was saved by Mark Howard.

Clarke then produced a neat shot on the turn which forced Chris...
