Stuttgart have been one of the most impressive sides in terms of their results during the winter break, but their experienced coach Huub Stevens knows that will all count for nothing if they do not deliver when it matters against Borussia Monchengladbach this Saturday.

Three wins and a draw in their Portuguese training camp all augurs well for the second half of the season and Stevens hopes his impressions are not mistaken.

``The lads have pulled along well, they have become more united and are in...

Borussia Monchengladbach coach Lucien Favre said he has determined Fabian Johnson's favourite position following a reported spat between the U.S. international and the Swiss coach.

Jose Mourinho uncertain on Thorgan Hazard future at Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes that there could be some January signings in the works for the Blues.

Jose Mourinho has said Thorgan Hazard "has enough potential to play for Chelsea one day" but indicated that his future is uncertain as his first-team opportunities would be restricted by his brother Eden.

Thorgan Hazard, 21, is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, and the German club confirmed last month that they were in talks with Chelsea over a permanent transfer.

The attacking midfielder told Het Laatste Nieuws in his native Belgium this week that, while there was no agreement in place...

Fabian Johnson's position a problem, Gladbach coach Lucien Favre says

Johnson impressed at the 2014 World Cup for Jurgen Klinsmann's U.S. side.

Borussia Monchengladbach coach Lucien Favre has admitted his surprise over comments made by U.S. international Fabian Johnson regarding his favourite position.

Johnson, 27, joined The Foals on a free transfer from domestic rivals Hoffenheim following the 2014 World Cup, which saw the U.S. international excel at right-back.

However, his participation in the tournament in Brazil meant that he arrived late for his first training sessions at Gladbach.

Johnson found it hard to break into Favre's side...

Gladbach hit out at Bayern Munich policy of snapping up young players

CSKA striker Seydou Doumbia shows why he could be on his way to the Premier League in the January transfer window.
The ESPN FC crew delve deeper into the latest transfer talk, where Xherdan Shaqiri is linked with a move away from Bayern Munich and Marco Reus may join Fernando Torres at Atletico Madrid.

Borussia Monchengladbach have hit out at Bayern Munich for their transfer policy, whereby they have been snapped up promising German young players from other clubs.

Last summer, Gladbach lost youth prospect Sinan Kurt to Bayern Munich following weeks of negotiations, and a war of words between officials from both teams.

Kurt, 18, has yet to make his first team debut for Bayern, and has so far seen most of his game time with their under-19s. He has also featured in a handful of reserve matches, while...
