Rio Mavuba said he would 'think about' a move back to Bordeaux if he were approached.

Rio Mavuba has indicated he is keen to move on from Lille after this season and would be open to a return to Bordeaux.

The France midfielder has been with the club since January 2008, initially joining on loan following a failed spell with Villarreal before making the move permanent that summer.

He helped Les Dogues win the league and cup double in 2011 and regained his international place, though his last appearance came in their World Cup opener against Honduras last summer.

Bordeaux's Cedric Yambere celebrates after scoring a goal in his team's 1-0 win vs. Marseille.

Marseille's Ligue 1 title hopes suffered another setback after they made it back-to-back domestic defeats for the first time this season with a 1-0 loss at Bordeaux.

OM have been fighting near the top of the standings all year, but last week's 3-2 reverse against Paris St Germain saw them drop five points behind Laurent Blanc's leaders.

French referee Kalt punished for pushing Adamo Coulibaly

Philippe Kalt referee
Philippe Kalt is due to retire at the season's conclusion.

A French referee who pushed a Lens player during Sunday's league game at Bordeaux will no longer officiate at next weekend's Coupe de la Ligue final.

Philippe Kalt, 46, swept Adamo Coulibaly aside with his left arm as he was surrounded by Lens players protesting the yellow card he wanted to show their teammate, Pablo Chavarria.

Kalt had been due to act as fourth official at Saturday night's showpiece between Bastia and Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade de France, but has been relieved of his duties...

Nicolas Maurice-Belay's stoppage-time goal saw Bordeaux claim a last gasp 2-1 win over rock-bottom Lens on Sunday.

Mariano opened the scoring for Les Girondins in the 80th minute but Lens were quickly back on level terms thanks to Pablo Chavarria's 86th minute equaliser.

However, with the match almost done, Maurice-Belay found the bottom left corner in the third minute of stoppage time to put Bordeaux two points adrift of fifth-placed St Etienne.

Bordeaux had a chance for an early goal in the fifth...
