PSG go level on points with league-leaders Monaco after cruising past Bordeaux with the help of an Edinson Cavani brace.

Paris Saint-Germain went level on points with Ligue 1 leaders Monaco after a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Bordeaux.

Monaco retain a game in hand, against Metz on Saturday, and a goal difference advantage of 15, but will be under pressure to maintain their fine form.

Two superb goals from Edinson Cavani either side of Angel Di Maria's cool finish secured second-placed PSG's victory.

Cavani's first came in only the sixth minute when, as a headed clearance fell to his feet, he powerfully volleyed...

Tough Bordeaux match might actually help Paris Saint-Germain vs. Barca

Julien Laurens previews PSG and Barcelona's UCL Round of 16 match, and the difficult situation the Parisians are facing.
Lucas Moura snatched all three points for Paris Saint-Germain in their latest Ligue 1 clash against Lille - but he did so in controversial fashion.

Paris Saint-Germain are approaching their most important match of the season so far when they host Barcelona in the Champions League last 16 next week but before that, they have to navigate a potentially tricky trip to face Girondins de Bordeaux on Friday.

Lucas Moura came off the bench to score a stoppage-time winner as Paris Saint-Germain beat Lille 2-1 at Parc des Princes to keep the pressure on at the top of Ligue 1.

A looping header from Edinson Cavani with 20 minutes left looked to have set PSG up for victory, keeping them within striking distance of leaders Monaco.

However, Lille threatened to leave the capital with a share of the points after Nicolas de Preville equalised following a mistake by goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.

Monaco demolish Nice in crucial derby in Ligue 1 as PSG defeat Dijon

Monaco celebrate after Radamel Falcao found the back of the net.
Monaco opened a three-point cushion atop Ligue 1 with victory over Nice.

Radamel Falcao scored two second-half goals as Monaco moved three points clear in Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory in their much-anticipated top-of-the-table derby at home to Nice.

Valere Germain's 47th-minute header put Monaco in front before Falcao doubled up with a tap-in on the hour and then his 14th goal of the campaign 10 minutes from time at the Stade Louis II Stadium.

Both goal scorers owed much to the brilliant crossing of Benjamin Mendy as Monaco put distance between themselves and their nearest...
