High-flying Bordeaux picked up their fifth Ligue 1 win of the season after a goal three minutes into injury time saw them to a 2-1 victory over Rennes at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.

The home side took the lead through Wahbi Khazri after 73 minutes before Rennes levelled nine minutes from time through substitute Mamadou Habibou.

However, with 93 minutes on the clock, Thomas Toure found the net to earn Willy Sagnol's side the spoils and move them onto 17 points from eight games.

It took just two minutes...

Bordeaux saw an injury-time penalty appeal from waved away as they drew 1-1 with fellow Ligue 1 high-fliers St Etienne.

Victory for either side would have taken them level on points with leaders Marseille but they had to settle for a share of second place after first-half goals from Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Tiago Ilori cancelled each other out.

Hosts St Etienne had been the better side but were almost sucker punched at the death - Nicolas Maurice-Belay going one on one with Stephane Ruffier only to...

Wahbi Khazri's goal proved to be Bordeaux's match-winner.

Bordeaux replaced Lille at the top of the Ligue 1 standings after a 2-1 victory against Evian on Friday.

Les Girondins bounced back from last weekend's shock defeat at Guingamp, with Diego Rolan's first-half strike giving them a 1-0 lead at the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas before Wahbi Khazri ensured the points with a fine strike in the second half.

Evian fought their way back into the match when Yeltsin Tejeda pulled a goal back four minutes from time but, despite their spirited performance, Pascal...

Bordeaux missed the chance to return to the top of Ligue 1 as first-half goals from Christophe Mandanne and Moustapha Diallo sent them to a 2-1 defeat at lowly Guingamp.

Willy Sagnol's side had started the new season in fine style but had only Cheick Diabate's late consolation to show for their efforts as the hosts hung on to move out of the bottom three.

Guingamp were impressive from the start with Claudio Beauvue bringing a save out of Cedric Carrasso before former Newcastle man Sylvain Marveaux...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic hat trick fires Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon lose again

Ibra slotted home three goals and Edinson Cavani scored another as PSG rolled to a 5-0 win vs. St. Etienne.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's hat-trick inspired Paris Saint-Germain as they put their faltering start to the Ligue 1 season behind them with a commanding 5-0 thrashing of St Etienne.

Stephane Ruffier's inexplicable own goal got the Parisians' evening off to a perfect start when the goalkeeper allowed Jeremy Clement's pass back beyond him. Ibrahimovic added a second before the break.

The Sweden captain helped himself to a second shortly after the hour mark and Edinson Cavani added a fourth before the Sweden...
