Annan made hard work of their clash with Berwick but eventually ran out 4-2 winners.

They opened the scoring after four minutes when Matt Flynn played the ball to David Hopkirk out wide and his teasing cross was converted by Stuart McColm at the back post.

It looked all to easy when Hopkirk and McColm again combined to great effect and the latter picked out Josh Todd to slot home from close range four minutes later.

It was 3-0 when McColm's cross-cum-shot from the left side of the box found the bottom...

Marvin Andrews headed home a last-minute equaliser to snatch a 3-3 draw for Montrose and deny 10-man Berwick a third straight win.

It was Montrose who drew first blood after 31 minutes through Scott Johnston's neat finish but they went into the break 2-1 down.

Andrew Russell equalised when he tapped in after Stuart McKenzie fumbled Darren Lavery's header in the 38th minute before Paul Willis pounced on an error by Andrews to fire a low shot into the bottom corner in first-half injury time.

Berwick turned on the style after the break to brush Clyde aside and register back-to-back 3-0 wins.

Rangers had the better of the first half and were only denied the lead thanks to the legs of Clyde keeper Willy Bald, who kept Johnny Fairburn's header out as they went in all-square.

But there was no denying them after the break as Darren Lavery broke the deadlock in the 66th minute when he converted Paul Willis' cross.

The second came 10 minutes later when Steven Notman deflected Fairburn's header...

Berwick began 2015 with a bang as they beat East Stirling 3-0 to move to within a point of the Scottish League Two play-off places.

Scott Maxwell joined Berwick from The Shire last summer and he came back to haunt his former club as he slotted home Andy Russell's cross at the back post to give the hosts a 31st-minute lead.

The Black and Gold only had to wait three minutes to double their advantage, Steven Notman heading home Paul Willis' free-kick.

Berwick secured all three points just over a minute...

Berwick and Queen's Park shared the spoils after a goalless Scottish League Two stalemate at Shielfield Stadium.

The hosts applied plenty of pressure in the first half but could not make the breakthrough as Steven Notman and Paul Willis went close without scoring.

Queen's Park had a penalty appeal turned down soon after the break following a clash between John Carter and Berwick keeper William Bald, while fine defensive work from Bryan Wharton denied the Borderers a tap-in after 68 minutes.
