Home United utility Irfan Fandi is in talks with Bangkok Glass about a move to the Thai League (T1) side for the 2018 season, but admits his ultimate ambition is to play in Europe.

Amiruldin helps Home United pip Hougang for third in Singapore Cup

A lone Amiruldin Asraf goal was enough to help an under-strength Home United side overcome Hougang United 1-0 in the Singapore Cup third-place playoff on Sunday night.

Home United striker Stipe Plazibat completes move to Bangkok Glass

Home United forward Stipe Plazibat has finally completed a move to Thai League (T1) side Bangkok Glass on a one-year contract.

The 28-year-old Croatian enjoyed a stunning 2017 season on a personal level, with 37 goals and 14 assists in all competitions for the Protectors.

His efforts saw him nominated for the S.League Player of the Year award, although he was pipped to the crown by Kento Nagasaki from champions Albirex Niigata (S).

Hariss Harun and Stipe Plazibat will represent Home United for a final time when the Protectors take on Hougang United in the 2017 Singapore Cup third-place playoff at Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday.

Australia's Aurelio Vidmar took over at Bangkok Glass last August.

Former Adelaide United head coach Aurelio Vidmar has parted ways with Thai League (T1) club Bangkok Glass by "mutual consent" after just under a year in the Thai capital.

Vidmar leaves with his team sitting fifth in the table, 10 points behind leaders Buriram United. The club suggested that there had been differing views on how to take the team forward, resulting in the decision for both parties to go their separate ways.
