A fan celebrates getting De Bruyne's shirt, Messi has a motorcade in Egypt and more in The Sweeper.
Edin Dzeko celebrates after scoring Roma's second.
Roma are bidding for a new arena and await word from the city council.

Roma president James Pallotta says a rejection of his club's new stadium plans by the city council would have "catastrophic" consequences for the Giallorossi.

The Eternal City club are bidding to build a new arena in a currently disused area of the city, but initial reservations against the idea have escalated during a series of council meetings to discuss the project.

Spalletti makes clear his future isn't tied to Roma or Francesco Totti

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti examines Edin Dzeko's impact for Roma and expects he will top Serie A's scoring charts this season.

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has said his future at the club will depend on what happens with Francesco Totti in the summer.

Totti, 40, signed a one-year contract extension last June, and Spalletti said he would walk away in protest if the captain was not offered another year on top of that.

"Don't ask me about how well my team is doing, ask me about Totti," he said at a news conference after Roma's weekend win over Torino in which Totti made his 11th appearance of the season.

"It is only right...

Roma put on a show, scoring sensational goals in thrashing of Torino

Four players scored for Roma in a dominant victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico.
Edin Dzeko struck first as Roma ran out 4-1 winners in a superb showing against Torino on Sunday.

Roma put on a show of sensational goals as they warmed up for their Europa League return leg with Villareal by sweeping aside a spirited but porous Torino 4-1 to maintain both their 100 percent home record and second spot in Serie A.

Edin Dzeko set Luciano Spalletti's side on their way with his 19th league strike of the season, a beautifully drilled shot from just outside the area after a neat one-two with Radja Nainggolan in the 10th minute. That was swiftly followed up by Mohamed Salah's first...
