Former Arsenal forward Paul Mariner explains just how important the North London derby is to Arsenal and Tottenham.
Dragan Stojkovic has big plans for Guangzhou R&F.

Dragan Stojkovic has said he wants to transform Guangzhou R&F "into a big club like Arsenal."

Former Yugoslavia international Stojkovic played under Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger at Japanese club Nagoya Grampus in 1995, leading the team to a runners-up spot, and the two have remained close ever since.

Arsenal's 'soft centre' holds no fear for opposition - Troy Deeney

Craig Burley says Spurs have gained on Arsenal because of Arsene Wenger, but dismisses the idea of a power shift.

Watford striker Troy Deeney says that Arsenal have lost their fear factor, insisting that Arsene Wenger's side struggle to get back into a game once they are behind.

Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe would benefit greatly from a move to Arsenal, according to club legend Robert Pires, who added that he thinks the rising star "will sign" for the Gunners.

However, the current Arsenal assistant cautioned that comparisons to Thierry Henry were premature.

Mbappe, 18, is considered to be one of the top, young prospects in world football thanks in large part to his stellar form in Monaco's run to the Champions League semifinals.

And Pires, who played with Henry on...

Arsene Wenger: Gambling is 'immoral' and should be banned from society

Arsene Wenger believes that Arsenal are still the dominant club in North London, having competed in the top four for 18 consecutive seasons.
Former Arsenal forward Paul Mariner explains just how important the North London derby is to Arsenal and Tottenham.

LONDON -- While betting companies have a massive presence in football these days, Arsene Wenger would like to see gambling banned completely from society.

The influence of betting companies has been a topic of debate this week after Burnley midfielder Joey Barton was banned for 18 months for breaking the Football Association's rules on gambling.

Barton admitted to having a gambling addiction after the verdict was made public, and criticised the FA for allowing betting adverts to be placed on TV,...
