League Two leaders Arbroath continued to stutter with a 1-1 home draw against East Fife.

Simon Murray put the hosts ahead but Allan Moore's men are now without a win in four matches after Jonathan Page's late equalising goal.

Murray saw a shot hit a post in the 27th minute but he got his name on the score sheet 10 minutes later with a close-range finish.

Robert Linn came close to doubling the lead when goalkeeper Jordan Millar fumbled his effort.

Page levelled things up with six minutes remaining when...

Leaders Arbroath are without a Scottish League Two victory in three outings following a 1-1 draw at struggling Clyde.

Defender Ryan McGeever had the chance to put the visitors ahead as early as the fifth minute but his header flew over the top.

And Arbroath were punished when Ross Fisher headed in the opener from Scott Durie's cross in the 20th minute.

Paul McManus, with 10 goals to his name this term, was off target in the second half as Arbroath pushed for a leveller.

League leaders Arbroath have defensive concerns ahead of the visit of second placed Albion Rovers.

Ricky Little is out with a toe problem, Kevin Nicoll will be absent with a groin injury and Scott McBride is suffering from a gash on his foot.

Ryan McGeever has been added to the squad on loan from Falkirk, with manager Allan Moore also hoping to sign Craig Watson from Hamilton in time for the game.

There was some good news for Moore as striker Simon Murray, who was sold to Dundee United at the beginning...

Paul McManus missed a late penalty as Arbroath squandered a two-goal lead and were held 2-2 against Montrose.

McManus had the chance to win the game for the hosts with 11 minutes left but he blazed his spot-kick over the bar after Jonathan Crawford had fouled Dylan Easton.

The Red Lichties went ahead just before half-time when Adam Hunter swept in his second goal for the club after Robert Linn's corner was not dealt with.

Nine minutes into the second period Simon Murray scored his sixth goal in four...

Simon Murray hit a hat-trick as Arbroath cut loose in a 5-1 win over 10-man East Fife.

Ross Campbell's dismissal early in the second half changed the course of the game and meant that Arbroath went on to a fourth win in a row thanks to Murray's second treble of the season.

He gave the visitors the lead in the 10th minute when he latched on to Jordon Lowton's pass before rounding the goalkeeper and finishing coolly.

Craig Johnstone conceded a penalty shortly afterwards, allowing Jon McShane to level...
