Club America-Chivas proceeds to go to Chiapas earthquake relief efforts

Liga MX giant Club America is set to donate the gate proceeds from the Clasico Nacional against Chivas on Sept. 23 to help fund rescue efforts in the southern Mexican states of Chiapas and Oaxaca, which were devastated by an earthquake last Thursday.

At least 96 people died as a result of the magnitude 8.1 earthquake with over 2.3 million affected by the natural disaster.
