Scott Chaplain's first-half double helped 10-man Albion hold on to win 4-1 at East Stirling. Mark McGuigan put the visitors into an early lead and it was doubled after quarter of an hour, when Chaplain fired across goal and past Richard Barnard.

David McKenna pulled one back for the home side from the penalty spot before Chaplain found space in the box to slot in his second of the match.

The Wee Rovers' Jamie Pollock was dismissed before the interval for abusive language and East Stirling nearly capitalised...

Albion stretched their unbeaten run to three games after playing out a 0-0 draw with Montrose in Scottish League Two.

Forward Leighton McIntosh created the first chance of the match when his rasping shot tested the hands of Rovers goalkeeper Neil Parry.

At the other end Scott Chaplain had the ball in the net for Albion but his strike was ruled out for offside.

Stuart McKenzie then had to be alert to parry away Ross Davidson's left-footed effort inside the penalty area.

Liam Cusack scored the only goal of the game as Albion held out for a 1-0 win over Clyde at the Broadwood Stadium.

Cusack opened the scoring after just 14 minutes when he fired home a crisp strike from a tight angle.

The hosts almost replied immediately but for a fine save from Neil Parry to keep out Euan Smith's stinging effort.

Albion lost the influential Cusack to injury after the break but could have scored again had Scott Chaplain's strike not hit the foot of the post.

Chaplain squandered a second...

Berwick can look forward to a trip to Lowland League outfit Spartans after battling to a 1-0 win at 10-man Albion in their Scottish Cup fourth-round replay.

Chances were few and far between in the opening period, with Berwick keeper Michael Andrews racing out to deny Rovers striker Liam Cusack when it looked like he was through on goal.

Paul Willis went close to breaking the deadlock for the visitors 13 minutes after the interval but Neil Parry produced a finger-tip save to deny his effort, while Marc...

Scott Chaplain scored twice as Albion piled the misery on Elgin with a 3-0 win.

The visitors remain rooted to the bottom of the table as their winless league run was extended to 12 games.

Chaplain took his tally for the season up to eight by scoring once in each half.

He opened the scoring 15 minutes before the break, sliding in at the back post to score from Liam Cusack's low cross.

Soon after Brian Cameron had rattled the crossbar from 25 yards for the visitors, Chaplain killed the game off with his...
