Arsenal are tracking French forward Sehrou Guirassy, a source close to the Premier League club has told ESPN FC.

Lille attacker Guirassy has emerged on Arsenal's radar after impressing on loan at Ligue 2 side Auxerre in the second half of this season.

Guirassy, who can play on either wing or as a striker, has scored eight goals in 16 appearances for Auxerre.

Former France international Djibril Cisse says he may return to football after undergoing a successful hip operation.

Cisse, 34, announced his retirement last October after revealing that he would need a hip replacement. But the former Liverpool, Sunderland and QPR striker says that making a comeback seems a realistic possibility now that he is pain free.

Legendary French coach Guy Roux has been fitted with a pacemaker after suffering a heart scare.

Roux, 76, achieved iconic status within French football during a 40-year tenure in charge of Auxerre during which he turned the former boys' club team into Ligue 1 champions in 1996, making them -- and himself -- a household name across the country.

Roux, who ended his coaching career in 2005, was rushed to an Auxerre hospital on Wednesday evening and had the pacemaker fitted after feeling unwell at home.
