Bournemouth complete move for Ipswich Town star Tyrone Mings

Mings was playing non-league football less than three years ago.

Bournemouth have wrapped up the signing of Ipswich defender Tyrone Mings for a reported fee of around £8 million.

On Thursday, news broke that the Premier League debutants had agreed a fee with Ipswich for the 22-year-old full-back.

The highly-rated Mings joined the East Anglians from non-league Chippenham Town for just £10,000 less than three years ago.

He was linked with Arsenal last season...

Bournemouth have had a club record bid of around £8 million accepted for highly-rated Ipswich Town defender Tyrone Mings, sources have told ESPN FC.

Mings, 22, is regarded as one of the best young defenders in the country after impressing at Ipswich during the last couple of seasons.

Arsenal were credited with an interest in the left-back last season with Arsene Wenger admitting he was keeping tabs on the player, while Crystal Palace had a £3.5m bid rejected during the transfer window...

Bournemouth sign Christian Atsu on season loan from Chelsea

Chelsea's Christian Atsu spent time on loan at Everton last season but will now move to Bournemouth.

Bournemouth have signed Christian Atsu on a season-long loan from Chelsea as they step up their Premier League preparations.

The 23-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from Porto in September 2013 and has been loaned out to Vitesse Arnhem and, most recently, Everton.

A deal has now been struck that will see Atsu continue his development at the Goldsands Stadium next season, subject to Premier League approval.

The winger has already collected nearly 40 caps for Ghana and was named player of the tournament...

Bournemouth sign Norway international striker Joshua King

Joshua King will play in the Premier League next season with Bournemouth.

Bournemouth have signed Norway international striker Joshua King following his departure from Blackburn.

The former Manchester United youngster was out of contract at Rovers, who offered him a new deal, and arrives at the Premier League newcomers on a free transfer.

However, Blackburn will be due compensation for the move as King is under the age of 24. If a fee is not able to be agreed by the two clubs then it will be decided by a tribunal.

Bournemouth sign ex-Reading keeper Adam Federici on a free transfer

Adam Federici will play in the Premier League again.

Premier League newcomers Bournemouth have signed their second goalkeeper in two days by acquiring ex-Reading stopper Adam Federici.

The Cherries brought in last season's loanee Artur Boruc on a permanent deal on Tuesday and have followed that up by agreeing to terms on a three-year deal with Federici, who was a free agent after his contract with the Royals expired.

Federici, 30, made 49 appearances in all competitions for Championship side Reading last term, but it was his error in the FA Cup semi-final...
