Crystal Palace sell Glenn Murray to Bournemouth

ESPNFC's Gab Marcotti believes Bournemouth's acquisition of Glenn Murray send out a positive message.

Bournemouth have announced the signing of striker Glenn Murray from Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee.

Murray, 31, has agreed a three-year contract at newly promoted Bournemouth as they look to avoid Premier League relegation this season.

The Englishman scored 44 goals in 112 league appearances for Palace, having joined the club from Brighton in 2011.

Bournemouth were psychologically affected by Tyrone Mings injury - Howe

Tyrone Mings is taken off with a bad looking injury.

Eddie Howe believes his Bournemouth side were physiologically affected by Tyrone Mings' harrowing injury in their 1-1 Premier League draw against Leicester.

Bournemouth enjoyed the best of the opening period and took a well-deserved lead through Callum Wilson's acrobatic strike after 24 minutes. But the home side were rocked when Mings was left writhing in agony after a collision with Leicester's Danny Drinkwater just five minutes into his debut.
