SYDNEY -- Sydney FC lifted the FFA Cup trophy after a 2-1 extra-time victory over Adelaide United at Allianz Stadium on Tuesday night.  Here are three thoughts from the match:

Michael Marrone is likely to be in hot water after the Adelaide United defender felled a ball boy in Tuesday night's FFA Cup final, sparking a mass sideline melee.

The extra-time incident occurred when Marrone approached the ball boy and attempted to retrieve the ball on the sideline minutes after Bobo headed in Sydney FC's 2-1 winner.

Video footage shows the youngster turning away from Marrone, before the player shoved him and he fell to the ground.

Tuesday's FFA Cup final between Sydney FC and Adelaide United is shaping up to be one of the greats.

Adelaide United coach Marco Kurz is coy on whether Danish star Johan Absalonsen will return from injury to play in Tuesday night's FFA Cup final.

The winger has returned to full training on recovery from a thigh injury he picked up in last month's Cup semifinal win over Western Sydney.

And while Kurz on Monday revealed his entire squad has travelled to Sydney for Tuesday night's decider against Sydney FC, he was cagey on what part the winger would play at Allianz Stadium.
