Inverness full-back Graeme Shinnie claims he is focusing too much on his club's hectic schedule to be distracted by speculation over his own future.

Shinnie has been linked with moves to the likes of Birmingham, Rangers and Aberdeen, who visit the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Sunday.

The 23-year-old is out of contract in the summer and his agent recently angered Inverness manager John Hughes by stating that the player would move on in the summer.

That could prompt Inverness to listen carefully to any...

Peter Pawlett's strike midway through the second half proved the decider as Aberdeen beat Kilmarnock 1-0 and moved to second in the Scottish Premiership table, four points behind leaders Celtic.

Derek McInnes' side were always on top against a workmanlike Killie who have now gone eight games without a win in all competitions.

A goalless first half was dominated by the in-form hosts, and they should haver taken the lead as early as the 11th minute.

Jonny Hayes' fiercely-struck 25-yard effort could only...

Tribunal upholds ban on Celtic's Aleksandar Tonev over racist abuse

Aleksandar Tonev
The tribunal accused Toney of giving 'an inherently improbable account.'

A Scottish Football Association (SFA) tribunal has thrown out Celtic winger Aleksandar Tonev's appeal against a seven-match ban for using racist language.

On-loan Aston Villa winger Tonev was banned by an SFA panel over an incident involving Aberdeen full back Shay Logan in September.

The SFA has published the report of both the panels that examined the case, which Celtic said last month they...

Aberdeen moved level with Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership thanks to two first half goals from Adam Rooney at Tannadice.

Rooney struck in 19 and 34 minutes to give Derek McInnes' side a lead which they were never going to give up as it moved them joint third in the table with Jackie McNamara's off-form United team.

Rooney is now on 17 goals for the season after some poor goal-keeping from United's Radoslaw Cierzniak.

The Dons made a bright start as they looked in the mood to make up for their...

Aberdeen leapfrogged Hamilton into fourth place in the Scottish Premiership with a convincing 3-0 victory over the Lanarkshire team at Pittodrie.

Ash Taylor's header gave the Dons a first-half lead and the contest was over shortly after the interval thanks to a delightful Niall McGinn strike and Adam Rooney's penalty.

Accies, who won the reverse fixture 3-0 in October, faded badly in the second period and their misery was compounded when Jon Routledge saw red with 10 minutes remaining.

The only talking...
