Shanghai SIPG coach Vitor Pereira is set to make changes for Tuesday's Asian Champions League clash with Ulsan Hyundai after a 2-0 win over city rivals Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
SIPG claimed their second win in a row after last week's 8-0 thrashing of Dalian Yifang thanks to goals from Hulk and Lu Wenjun, but Pereira is concerned that a heavy schedule of domestic and continental commitments could have a negative impact.
"You can't handle a tight schedule where you play one game every three days," the coach, whose side drew with Ulsan in Shanghai on Wednesday, said.
"So for our next Asian Champions League [game] we will adjust our lineup.
"Tonight we used the same lineup as we did in the ACL and we are now on the right track. We were quite clever today and we converted our two chances into goals. Our performance deserved a win."
Giovanni Moreno was close to giving Shenhua the lead in the opening moments when Qiu Shengjiong tipped his low shot wide.
But they broke through in the 27th minute as Wu Lei headed Oscar's long ball into the path of Hulk and the Brazilian curled his shot into the top corner from 25 yards.
Eight minutes after the restart Lu Wenjun doubled the lead when he slid the ball into the far corner from inside the area.
Shandong Luneng joined SIPG on six points from their first two games as Diego Tardelli and Graziano Pelle scored to beat Chongqing Lifan 2-0, while Guangzhou R&F also secured a second straight win with a 2-0 victory over Dalian Yifang.
Chen Zhizhao put his side in front on the hour before Eran Zahavi, top scorer in last season's Chinese Super League, claimed his fourth goal in two games five minutes later.
Tianjin Quanjian, meanwhile, slipped to a 2-1 loss against Beijing Renhe, with Alexandre Pato's 93rd-minute goal was not enough to deny last season's second division runners-up their first three points.
