Eden Hazard wins Premier League Goal of the Month for strike against Arsenal

Eden Hazard has won the Premier League Goal of the Month award for February for his strike in Chelsea's 3-1 Premier League win against Arsenal.

Hazard's goal came in the 53rd minute of that game and put Antonio Conte's side 2-0 up, after Marcos Alonso had opened the scoring on 13 minutes. Cesc Fabregas added a third in the 85th minute before Olivier Giroud pulled one back for Arsenal in added time.

"It is always good to win trophies," Hazard told Chelsea's official website. "It is not my most important target to win Goal of the Month, I want to win big trophies at the end of the season, but it is something I can say in few years' time to my kids that I scored a beautiful goal against Arsenal.

"It means a lot for the fans and for us, because it was a derby and we won the game. That is the most important thing in football, that you win the game if you score a fantastic goal, and I hope to score more goals like this."

Hazard also joked that he'll need to move to a bigger home so he has room to store all his trophies.

Asked where he keeps his awards, he said: "To be fair, I don't know. I give them away to people sometimes, my father has some in Belgium. I have a couple of them in the garage. I don't know, I need to change my home I think, to a bigger one.

"No, I joke. It's good to get trophies, especially when you win games."

Other goals nominated for the award included Romelu Lukaku vs. Bournemouth, Henrikh Mkhitaryan vs. Leicester, Gylfi Sigurdsson vs. Man City, Manuel Lanzini vs. West Brom, Robbie Brady vs. Chelsea, Harry Kane vs. Stoke and Danny Drinkwater vs. Liverpool.
