Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard's injury not serious - Antonio Conte

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has said the injury that has ruled Eden Hazard out of the game against Sunderland on Wednesday is not a serious one.

Hazard did not travel with the Blues squad for the Premier League clash at the Stadium of Light, having sustained his injury during Sunday's 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.

The Belgium international has been replaced by Willian in the Chelsea XI for Wednesday's game, but Conte says he should be back fit again soon.

Asked if the injury to Hazard was serious, Conte told Sky Sports: "I don't think so. For this game he couldn't play."

Cesc Fabregas also comes into the Chelsea team to face Sunderland, replacing Nemanja Matic, while Kurt Zouma has made the bench after a long-term injury. Cesar Azpilicueta makes his 200th appearance for the club.

Chelsea can go six points clear at the top of the Premier League table with victory against the Black Cats.
