David Luiz: Chelsea's N'Golo Kante outscores Cristiano Ronaldo in training

Chelsea defender David Luiz has told The Sun that N'Golo Kante scores more goals in training than Cristiano Ronaldo.

Kante opened his account for the Blues in Sunday's 4-0 home win over Manchester United on former manager Jose Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge.

The France international jinked past Chris Smalling to score the game's final goal after having struck only six times in the last three seasons for Caen and Leicester City.

Earlier this month, the 25-year-old's former coach Patrice Garande told ESPN FC that the midfielder had the ability to add goals to his game.

And Luiz said: "In training he scores a lot -- more than Ronaldo!"

"This guy is a special guy, a fantastic person and a fantastic player. I think everybody saw when he scored that everybody was so, so happy for him."

Kante has established himself as a key man since arriving from Premier League champions Leicester in a summer deal worth around £30 million.

He is one of only four players -- along with Thibaut Courtois, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta -- to feature in every minute of the Blues' first nine Premier League matches.
