LONDON -- Antonio Conte says he wants to give Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich the perfect early birthday present by beating Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Abramovich turns 50 on Monday, only a day after Jose Mourinho returns to Stamford Bridge as United manager for the first time since being sacked by the Russian in December. Conte wants his players to remember that they are facing United rather than Mourinho, but admits that three points against Chelsea's greatest ever manager would be a fitting gift to the Russian businessman who has invested well over £1 billion of his personal wealth in the Blues since taking over in June 2003. Asked if he will give Abramovich a present to mark his birthday, Conte replied: "I hope so. I think he deserves this [victory] for his commitment to Chelsea. The players, we want to give him this gift." Mourinho is expected to receive a respectful welcome at Stamford Bridge, despite presiding over a disastrous Premier League title defence last season and making the decision to take charge of rivals United last summer. Conte thinks his predecessor deserves no less, but wants his players to focus on their opponent on the pitch rather than in the visiting dugout. "It's important [to focus] because we have a very tough game against a strong team, like Manchester United, not against Jose Mourinho," Conte insisted. "It's important, I repeat, to focus on the pitch. On the players of Manchester United. To prepare the game in the right way. It's normal, this, in this situation when a coach or managers comes back to a club where he'd done a lot of positive things. It's normal to talk about him. "But it's important for us to focus and concentrate on the game. It's right for him to have a good reception. But then when the whistle sounds, it's important to start and play, to see United as an enemy, an opponent." Asked if he believed that Chelsea's players think they have an added point to prove against Mourinho on Sunday, Conte added: "No, absolutely not. I think that when you have a lot of time with a man and you won a lot with him, you love this man. "You love this person for the relationship you were able to create in this time. Then, it's normal that when something like last season happened -- a bad season -- I don't think that... I think the players want to win, but have great respect for him. It's right, this."
