Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas denies talk he's leader of Jose Mourinho revolt

Cesc Fabregas has moved to deny reports that he is the leader of a group of Chelsea players who have lost faith in Jose Mourinho's management skills.

Mourinho has endured a dismal start to the season, with his Blues side currently 15th in the Premier League table with just 11 points from the opening 11 matches of their title defence, while sources have told ESPN FC that he has two games to save his job.

There have been questions about some players' commitment towards the Portuguese, and the presenter of BBC Radio 5 Live's "Sportsweek" programme reported at the weekend that he had been told that one first-team Chelsea player had recently said: "I'd rather lose than win for him."

The Secret Footballer claimed on Monday that Fabregas, who was dropped to the substitutes' bench by Mourinho for Saturday's 3-1 loss to Liverpool, is "the leader of that mini-revolt."

However, the Spain international took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to dismiss such speculation, adding that he is enjoying life at Stamford Bridge and feels the club can turn their fortunes around.

Earlier this week, John Obi Mikel, Oscar and Ramires all voiced their support for Mourinho, who was labelled the "best coach" in the world by Miguel Veloso of Dynamo Kiev -- Chelsea's opponents in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Mourinho's problems continued later on Monday, however, when he was given a one-match stadium suspension with immediate effect and fined £40,000 by the Football Association after admitting a charge of misconduct.
