New signing Papy Djilobodji won't be in the Champions League squad for Chelsea when group stage play begins on Sept. 15.
The 26-year-old Senegalese was omitted because Chelsea had already reached their limit of non-locally trained players on their A list for the competition.
Chelsea's other major summer signings -- Asmir Begovic, Pedro, Radamel Falcao and Baba Rahman -- were all included in the 25-man squad. Djilobodji signed a four-year contract with Chelsea on transfer deadline day.
