Jose Mourinho has confirmed John Terry and Thibaut Courtois will be rested for Chelsea's home FA Cup tie against Bradford City on Saturday, with the Portuguese coach insisting that his choice of goalkeepers gives him the easiest decision in football.

Courtois returned to Chelsea's starting XI in the League Cup against Liverpool on Tuesday night, putting in a man-of-the-match performance despite recent time out with a broken finger.

The Belgium international had sat out the previous Saturday's 5-0 win over Swansea City, and Mourinho said that due to his utter confidence in Petr Cech, Chelsea are unique in that they do not have to take any risks with their goalkeepers' fitness.

"It's my easiest decision," he told a news conference on Friday. "No other manager in the world is so happy and comfortable as I am about the problems I have in goal. Against Arsenal, Courtois [was] injured after 20 minutes, nothing happened. Change: so easy.

"Courtois could play against Swansea. Petr didn't play against Swansea because Courtois was injured. Courtois had a problem but the problem wouldn't stop him playing.

"It was my decision for Petr to play [against] Swansea, based on the fact I trust him, he was playing well. If one of my goalkeepers has a problem, the other is so good I don't need [to gamble]."

Mourinho also confirmed that captain Terry will be rested, and that Kurt Zouma will start in central defence beside Gary Cahill.

Mourinho denied he would field a drastically weakened side, adding: "My team tomorrow reflects the fact that if we lose the game we are out and if we draw we have to go to Bradford. We don't want to be out and if possible we don't want to go to Bradford.

"This season we played already against League One teams and Championship teams and I don't remember an easy game."
