Catania have completed the signing of striker Sebastian Leto on a free transfer.
The Argentinian, who was at Liverpool between 2007 and 2009, has been a free agent since leaving Panathinaikos in January.
The Serie A side announced the news on their official website, although details of the 26-year-old's contract, including its length, have not been released.
"Catania can confirm reaching an economic agreement for the next few seasons with the striker Sebastian Eduardo Leto,'' a statement read.
Leto joined Panathinaikos in 2009 having previously spent a stint on loan at arch-rivals Olympiakos. He struggled in Athens, however, after suffering a serious knee injury in January last year.
Catania are currently ninth in Serie A heading into the final weeks of the season.
