Brisbane ready to deal with Victory aggressor Besart Berisha - Aloisi

Brisbane boss John Aloisi says the Roar will be ready to deal with former club favourite Besart Berisha when they host Melbourne Victory in Friday night's A-League elimination final.

While admitting he was surprised Berisha won his bid to have a two-week suspension reduced so he could play in the sudden-death clash at his old Suncorp Stadium stomping ground, Aloisi insisted it wouldn't change anything for his side -- not structurally, and certainly not psychologically.

"We've got big players, let's be honest," Aloisi said.

"We've got players who have played in Grand Finals, won Grand Finals, played in big games, World Cups.

"We've got a team that knows how to handle the pressure and run the opposition ragged at Suncorp.

"The opposition don't like coming here -- we know that. We make that our advantage.

"It doesn't matter who they've got in their side -- our players are ready."

If there's one man who truly wants to see Berisha leave Brisbane with his tail between his legs, it's Jamie Maclaren.

The 22-year-old Socceroo-in-waiting is the new king of Suncorp, having scored 11 of his 18 goals for the season at home -- three of them coming in last month's 5-0 whitewash of a full-strength Victory.

"I can see why Bes scored a lot of goals at Suncorp," Maclaren said.

"It's a great stadium; the fans are great; the pitch is good as well.

"We both want to score goals. We're both hungry -- we want to win championships.

"He's done it before and that's something I want to do.

"I guess it's whoever has their shooting boots on tomorrow night wins."
