Brighton's Anthony Knockaert signs new four-year contract

Anthony Knockaert has signed a new four-year deal with Brighton through to 2021.

The French attacker -- one of the Seagulls' standout players during a Championship campaign which has seen them firmly in the top two in the race for the Premier League -- penned the deal on Friday.

"Anthony has been an integral member of the squad since his arrival in January last year, and I am delighted that we have been able to secure his immediate future to the club," manager Chris Hughton told his club's official website.

The 25-year-old joined Albion from Standard Liege in January 2016 and this season has scored 11 goals in 33 games.

Knockaert and Brighton, second in the table, travel to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
