Rivaldinho, son of Brazil legend Rivaldo, joins Dinamo Bucuresti

Rivaldo and his son Rivaldinho played together for Mogi Mirim in 2015.

Rivaldinho, the son of Brazil legend Rivaldo, has joined Dinamo Bucaresti on a contract that runs until June 2020.

The club announced the deal on Wednesday, with the 21-year-old moving to Romania after being released by Brazilian club Internacional.

Rivaldinho, who will wear the No. 9 shirt for the Romanian first division side, began his career at Mogi Mirim in the Brazilian second division.

He scored 11 goals in 47 matches, working alongside his father when he rejoined the club in 2015....

Rivaldo plans comeback in Brazil's Serie B club Mogi Mirim EC

Brazil legend Rivaldo said he plans to make a return to action at the club where he is currently president, Mogi Mirim Esporte Clube in Brazil's Serie B. 

Rivaldo, 43, has not played since retiring in March 2014, when he brought the curtain down on a long career that included two La Liga titles with Barcelona as well as a nomadic late-career period at clubs in Uzbekistan and Angola before returning to his homeland.

Match ends as fans throw explosives

SAO PAULO -- In the latest case of football-related violence in the host country of the 2014 World Cup, a second-division match in Brazil was stopped when fans threw rocks and explosives on the field.

There were no reports of serious injuries in Friday's game between Avai and host Paysandu in the northern city of Belem. Police said some Paysandu fans were detained.
