England under-18s defender Mandela Egbo has joined Borussia Monchengladbach from Crystal Palace on a four-year deal.
Egbo, 17, signed a contract until June 30, 2019 after the full-back won the European U17s Championship in May last year.
"We are very happy that Mandela decided to play for us. He is a player with huge potential," Borussia's sporting director Max Eberl said.
"He can play on the right wing both offensively and defensively. Now he has the possibility to rise up through the ranks of the U23 squad and make it into the first team."
Egbo has been capped twice for England's U18s and made his debut for Crystal Palace U18s at the age of 15 but did not make an appearance for the first XI.
