Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has equalled former Ghana international Tony Yeboah's record for the most goals scored in the Bundesliga by an African player.
Gabon international Aubameyang's strike for Dortmund against Schalke on Saturday took him to 96 league goals in just over four seasons at the club.
During two different spells in the Bundesliga between 1990 and 2001, Yeboah scored 96 goals in 223 matches for Frankfurt and Hamburg.
The former Leeds striker had faced little competition for the record for several years, but from 2013 onwards Aubameyang had began to close in on him.

Joining Dortmund from St Etienne in 2013, Aubameyang played on the wing in his first season in Germany and scored 13 goals.
When Robert Lewandowski left for Bayern Munich, he took a more central role and continued to increase his output, scoring 16 goals in the 2014-15 season, 25 the campaign after and a league-high 31 last term.
Before his strike in the Champions League defeat against Tottenham on Tuesday, Aubameyang had not scored for five games, dating back to a brace in a 3-2 defeat against RB Leipzig last month.
Yeboah and Aubameyang are followed by Nigeria's Jonathan Akpoborie on 61 goals and Senegal's Souleyman Sane -- the father of Manchester City winger Leroy Sane -- on 51 goals.
