Nuri Sahin and Marco Reus return to Borussia Dortmund training

Borussia Dortmund have been boosted with the news that midfielder Nuri Sahin has returned to team training.

Sahin, 27, last featured for Dortmund in February having struggled with adductor problems that ruled him out for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.

On Monday, the Turkey international was involved in training at Borussia's training facilities at the Adi-Preissler-Allee.

⚽️Finally How much i've missed this feeling...the smile on my face says it all // Şükürler olsun... Bugün uzun bir aradan sonra takımımla yeniden çalışmalara başladım // Endlich... Wie sehr ich das Gefühl vermisst habe, wieder auf dem Trainingsplatz zu stehen und mit den Jungs zu trainieren! #patience #stillloading #bvb @bvb09 ⚽️

However, the youngest ever player to debut in the Bundesliga is not expected back in the Dortmund squad when they travel to Hamburg on Friday.

Marco Reus also joined Sahin in training, after tearing muscle fibres in BVB's 4-0 defeat of FK Qabala in the Europa League in early November.

On Friday, Dortmund travel to Hamburg's Volksparkstadion, where they last picked up three points in the 2011-12 season and have since suffered two defeats and been held to a goalless draw.

The hosts are reportedly set to be without midfielder Aaron Hunt, who is nursing a thigh injury and suffered an injury setback during the international break, limiting him to individual training sessions.
