Marco Reus closing in on Dortmund injury return vs. Bayern - reports

Marco Reus could make his return from injury in Borussia Dortmund's DFB Pokal semifinal against Bayern Munich next week, according to reports.

Reus is currently sidelined with adductor problems, which have affected him since early April.

Injury problems have limited the Germany international's playing time to 17 Bundesliga appearances this season.

Reus has been training individually at Borussia's training facilities at the Adi-Preissler-Allee, and he could be available to outgoing manager Jurgen Klopp for next Tuesday's meeting with Bayern.

Florian Groeger, a reporter with local paper Ruhr Nachrichten, said that Reus is a major doubt for the Bundesliga match against Frankfurt on Saturday, although Bild reported that he might return.

This week, Dortmund public prosecutor's office confirmed Reus has had investigations into alleged driving offences reopened.

According to a report in Bild, the prosecution has handed questionnaires about Reus and his driving behaviour to his Dortmund teammates and coach Klopp.

"We won't comment on ongoing investigations," BVB sporting director Michael Zorc told the paper.
