Dortmund's Marco Reus under new scrutiny after driving without a licence

Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus has had investigations into alleged driving offences reopened, the Dortmund public prosecutor's office has confirmed.

In December 2014, Reus, 25, was fined €540,000 for repeatedly driving without a licence.

It was later revealed that Reus, who never took a driving test, had actually presented "a forged Dutch driver's licence" in March 2014.

"The defendant has been charged with driving without a driving licence in six cases," a Dortmund chief prosecutor said at that time.

However, investigations regarding Reus were reopened when they were informed by members of the public that the Germany international has been seen driving the car on other occasions.

According to a report in Sudwest-Presse, "coach, teammates, and family members" will be heard as witnesses in the new investigations.
