Aubameyang carries Dortmund

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored as Borussia Dortmund beat Serie A side Chievo Verona in Austria on Friday night.

Dortmund experimented with three formations and 20 players in the friendly.

Aubameyang broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute when he drove home a loose ball following a corner kick.

Portugal's Sporting beat Italy's Lazio 4-2 on penalties after the match ended 2-2.

Andre Martins opened the scoring just five minutes in before Stefano Mauri equalised for Lazio just before halftime.

Adrien Silva converted a penalty after the break, and Sporting held the advantage until Mamdou Tounkara brough Lazio back level in the 90th minute.

Rui Patrício made two saves in the shootout to give Sporting the "5 violinos" trophy.

Swansea City called up a number of players form their under-21 side and suffered a 3-1 defeat away to Championship side Bournemouth.

Marc Pugh scored twice to gave the home side a 2-0 lead halftime, and a Brett Pitman penalty made it 3-0 after the break.

Jefferson Montero scored his first Swansea goal off a deflection for the final scoreline.
