Dortmund target Ciro Immobile - agent

Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Torino attacker Ciro Immobile, according to the player’s agent.

Buczko: Bayern win boosts Dortmund confidence

Last week, Dortmund announced the signing of Hertha Berlin forward Adrian Ramos as a replacement for Bayern Munich-bound Robert Lewandowski, while the club insisted he will not be the last striker to arrive at the Westfalenstadion before next season.

Along with several other Bundesliga clubs, Dortmund have been linked with Nuernberg attacker Josip Drmic, who has struck 16 league goals this term. The Switzerland international has a release clause in his contract which allows him to leave the club for five million euros should they get relegated.

The youngster is not the only striker being linked with Dortmund, however, as according to agent Marco Sommella, Immobile -- Serie A’s leading scorer -- has also attracted interest from Juergen Klopp's side.

“There is contact with Dortmund, yes, but no official offer,” Immobile’s representative told Sueddeutsche Zeitung. “Ciro has been scouted by BVB for some time now, and of course he would like to join such a big club.”

According to the report -- written by Freddie Roeckenhaus, a usually well-informed Dortmund insider -- Immobile has already been dubbed a “goal machine” by the Bundesliga club.

However, speaking to Sky Italia at the weekend, Immobile said that “German is a difficult language to learn” when asked about the rumours linking him with a move to Dortmund.
