Bolton have completed two loan signings with Slovakian midfielder Jan Gregus and England Under-21 defender Craig Dawson joining the Championship club.
Dawson has been borrowed from West Bromwich Albion for 93 days while Gregus, 21, has joined on a 12-month deal from Banik Ostrava.
Former Rochdale centre-back Dawson did not make a single league appearance for Albion this season and Bolton won a battle of several Championship clubs for his services.
Manager Dougie Freedman told the club website: "Craig had four or five different options and it is good news that he wants to come and play for us.
"When I spoke to him, he indicated that he was very keen to come here. He made the decision - and fair play to West Brom for letting him make that decision - because he wants to come to a club where he feels he can improve."
Gregus was spotted by Freedman playing for Slovakia Under 21s against their Romanian counterparts.
He told Bolton’s website: “The manager has spoken to me since I have arrived about how he likes me as a player and I am very happy to be here. I have spent some time with the squad and they have been very welcoming and personally they have helped me settle into life here in England. I now want to try and get better every day while I am here.”
