Transfer Rater: Marcelo to Juventus and Adrien Rabiot to Manchester City

Rumours
The latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the Whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Rafinha to Real Betis

Rafinha looks almost certain to leave Camp Nou on loan before Friday's deadline, with Real Betis the favourites to sign the midfielder, although Benfica have also expressed an interest. Marca report that Rafinha wanted to extend his temporary stay at Inter for another season but the two clubs couldn't reach an agreement. The Brazilian is now evaluating which club would be the best destination for him to play regularly.

Juan Bernat to Paris Saint-Germain

Bernat has been deemed surplus to requirement at the Allianz Arena with PSG ready to pay £15m for the Spanish full-back, although his wage demands could be a stumbling block. PSG coach Thomas Tuchel is keen to add another left-back to his squad, with Atletico Madrid's Filipe Luis and Danny Rose of Tottenham also under consideration. Sky Germany report that Bernat, who is also wanted by former club Valencia, is requesting £4.5m a year.

Raheem Sterling to Real Madrid

The European champions have reportedly renewed their interest in Manchester City forward Sterling although no bid is expected before the deadline closes. Sterling, 23, only has two years remaining on his deal at the Etihad and Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation and his form ahead of a possible approach next summer. According to Sky Sports, Madrid scouts will be at Wembley on Sept. 8 to watch England take on Spain with Sterling expected to start.

Adrien Rabiot to Manchester City

PSG midfielder Rabiot could be poised for a return to Manchester City having left the club 10 years ago. Rabiot had a brief spell at City's academy in 2008 before returning to France but is out of contract at PSG next summer and has turned down four offers from the French champions. Barcelona are also keen to sign the 23-year-old but relations with PSG have broken down and RAC1 believe Rabiot's representatives will be in Manchester this week for talks.

Marcelo to Juventus

Juventus are reportedly planning to bring another Madrid superstar to Turin, although won't be making a move for Marcelo until next summer. Tuttosport claim Cristiano Ronaldo has personally requested for the 30-year-old to join him in Serie A and the Italian champions plan to offer £50m for the Brazil international left-back. In order to fund the transfer, the Bianconeri will look to sell Alex Sandro who has suitors across Europe, including Madrid.
