Anthony Martial to Juventus
Juventus are leading the charge for Manchester United's wantaway striker Martial, with the Premier League side hoping to pick up €85 million for the Frenchman, according to Football Italia. The 22-year-old's agent has repeatedly stated that his client is hoping to move clubs to get crucial game time next season and the Italian champions pose an ideal solution, since United would rather not sell to another English club.
Jose Gaya to Manchester United
Manchester United could turn their attentions towards Valencia left back Gaya after being priced out of a move for their main transfer target, Juventus' Alex Sandro. According to talkSPORT, the 23-year old has just signed a new deal till 2023 but would reportedly still only cost around half the quoted price for the Brazilian international, at just £30m. Jose Mourinho is believed to be intent on strengthening the position, with the only current stand-out performer in that area of the squad Ashley Young, 32.
Medhi Benatia to Arsenal
New Arsenal manager Unai Emery is determined to bolster his defence before the new season starts and could turn to Juventus central defender Benatia to do exactly that. Right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner has already joined the club and central defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos is expected to follow suit, but Emery seems intent on adding to the new faces with the Moroccan international according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Benatia still has two years left on his contract but has reportedly fallen out with coach Max Allegri and could be on his way to either Arsenal or Borussia Dortmund, state reports from Italy.
Matt Ritchie to Bournemouth
Newcastle winger Ritchie could find himself on his way to Bournemouth this summer, as the club try to nail down a deal for Josh King. The Sun believe Eddie Howe's side have set the asking price at £20m -- a fee Newcastle aren't willing to pay -- but could settle for less if the 40-year-old coach can bring the Scottish international back to his former club as part of the deal. Ritchie moved to Newcastle from Bournemouth in 2016 after making over 130 appearances for the club.
Mateo Kovacic to Manchester City
In a recent interview with Marca, Real Madrid midfielder Kovacic admitted that he wished to play more first-team football and would probably have to leave the Spanish giants to so. Since joining the club in 2015, the Croatian international has played a bit-part role in Zinedine Zidane's squad and doesn't figure he'll be front and centre of Julen Lopetegui's plans either. The Manchester Evening News believe that Manchester City, who are negotiating a deal for Napoli midfielder Jorginho, may make a move for the 24-year-old if they're forced to look for other options.
