Transfer Rater: Anthony Martial to Juventus, Adama Traore to Chelsea

Rumours
The latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the Whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Anthony Martial to Juventus

Manchester United winger Martial is wanted by Juventus, who are reported to be readying a £44 million bid for the Frenchman according to Tuttosport. Martial has struggled to nail down a spot in Mourinho's starting line-up following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez but the former Monaco forward failed to impress when he started in the 1-0 defeat at Brighton on Friday night.

Yaya Toure to Everton

Toure's time at Manchester City may be coming to an end but the Ivorian is determined to remain in England. The Liverpool Echo say that, along with Burnley and Huddersfield, Everton are frontrunners for the 34-year-old's signature. Toure is leaving City after eight years at the club, during which he helped them to three Premier League titles, two League Cups and an FA Cup. However, he can no longer offer the same rampaging presence in midfield and has failed to start a single league game for Pep Guardiola's side this season.

Adama Traore to Chelsea

Middlesbrough winger Traore is attracting plenty of Premier League interest, with Chelsea leading the race for his signature. The 22-year-old has been in excellent form on Teeside this season, scoring five goals and notching 10 assists to help Tony Pulis' side secure a Championship playoff spot. According to The Mirror, Traore is valued at around £30m and is aware of interest in him from several clubs, with Everton and Newcastle also reported to be circling a potential deal.

Ousmane Dembele to Liverpool

He only signed for Barcelona in a staggering deal worth £135m less than a year ago but Dembele is already being linked with a move away. The 20-year-old became the second-most expensive player of all time when he joined Barca last summer but his first season has been a difficult one, with injuries and a loss of confidence hampering his progress. Now, The Mirror claim that Liverpool are interested in signing him. With Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane very much the established front trio at Anfield, it's difficult to see how Jurgen Klopp would fit Dembele in though.

Dominic Solanke to Rangers

Unsurprisingly, new Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is being linked with Liverpool players, one of whom is Solanke. The young striker has struggled to break into Klopp's first team this season after arriving from Chelsea last summer but Gerrard is keen to make the 20-year-old his first signing at Ibrox, according to the Scottish Sun. If Solanke moves north to Glasgow, Gerrard will hope the forward can replicate the form he showed for England at the Under-20 World Cup in 2017, when his four goals led to him being named Player of the Tournament.
