Marco Verratti to Manchester United
With club captain Michael Carrick retiring and Marouane Fellaini expected to leave in the summer, Jose Mourinho has drawn up a six-man midfield shortlist, with Manchester United set to buy at least one man to strengthen in the middle of the park, according to the Manchester Evening News. Verratti has been monitored, alongside Arturo Vidal, Fred, Jorginho, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Jean Michael Seri. Whether Paris Saint-Germain would be willing to sell Verratti is unclear, given they resisted Barcelona's attempts to buy him last summer.
Marouane Fellaini to Monaco
With Fellaini out of contract at Manchester United in the summer, Monaco have joined the list of clubs trying to convince him that they should be his next club, according to the Daily Mail. It reports that Besiktas and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the midfielder. The 30-year-old might ask for big wages as he is available on a free transfer, but Monaco could afford that following the big-money sales of a number of players since their title win last season.
Dani Ceballos to Liverpool
Various reports in Spain say Ceballos has been told he can leave Real Madrid this summer. The midfielder has failed to make a real impact in the Spanish capital since joining from Real Betis last July, starting just two La Liga matches. The 21-year-old is likely to be a Liverpool transfer target, according to talkSPORT, and it reports that Jurgen Klopp's side have been tracking the Spaniard for a number of months. They won't be alone in their pursuit of Ceballos though, with Juventus, Arsenal and Milan also linked with him.
Isco to Manchester City
It could be third time lucky for Manchester City in regards to Isco. The Sun says Pep Guardiola wants his side to make a £75 million bid for the Real Madrid man, who has twice previously turned down a move to the Etihad. But the 25-year-old could finally make the move as his future in Spain is uncertain. Zinedine Zidane is plotting a revolution at the Bernabeu following their disappointing title defence, which sees them sit 15 points behind league leaders Barcelona with nine games left. That could see Isco, and other big names such as Gareth Bale, leave.
Luke Shaw to Barcelona
The Mirror claims Shaw is a surprise Barcelona transfer target. The Catalan club are looking for a new backup left-back this summer as Lucas Digne could leave and the Manchester United man fits the bill. He is out of favour at Old Trafford and with just 12 months left on his contract, the 22-year-old is likely to leave this summer. It would be a surprise to see him end up at the La Liga champions, however.
