David De Gea asks Sergio Ramos for help in forcing Real Madrid move

Shaka Hislop believes Real Madrid would sell Gareth Bale if a proper bid comes in but what the player be ready to go?

Deadline day has come and gone, and all the latest deals and potential deals can be found here, but there's plenty brewing in the market as clubs begin to look toward January.

De Gea recruits the help of Ramos

According to reports in Spain, David De Gea is still adamant he wants to join Real Madrid after his failed deadline-day transfer two years ago.

The Manchester United goalkeeper has recruited Sergio Ramos to persuade the Spanish champions to resurrect their interest as he hopes to fulfil his dream of playing at the Santiago Bernabeu, claims Mundo Deportivo.

It is believed De Gea talked to Ramos while they were on Spain duty together and asked the defender to speak with Zinedine Zidane about formally requesting the club to make an offer.

If Real Madrid do return for the 26-year-old, you can be sure they won't rely on any dodgy fax machines this time around.

Isco commits to Real Madrid

Spain's man of the moment Isco will sign a new contract at Real Madrid, scuppering speculation that he could join Manchester United or Tottenham.

The Sun credits the Premier League duo as long-term admirers of the attacking midfielder and it was previously thought he may be attainable given his role as an understudy at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 25-year-old played a big part in Real Madrid's La Liga and Champions League success last season, however, and starred for Spain in their 3-0 World Cup qualifying victory against Italy last week, scoring twice and humiliating Marco Verratti with a nutmeg that has since gone viral.

That has prompted Florentino Perez to sign Isco to a new deal, with the Real Madrid president revealing an announcement is imminent. It may not be such a blow to Jose Mourinho, who could benefit from this development in his bid to bring Gareth Bale back to England.

Arsenal to offer Sanchez for Lemar

Alexis Sanchez was all smiles on his return to Arsenal training this week, but the forward's future is still unresolved after he had his heart set on joining Manchester City on deadline day.

With Arsenal keen to revive their £92 million bid for Thomas Lemar as Sanchez's replacement, The Sun now reports that the Chilean could be offered to Monaco as a potential makeweight in a January transfer.

Sanchez has made it clear he won't be signing a new contract before his current deal expires next summer, so this might be Arsenal's last chance of securing some value from the 28-year-old's departure.

Monaco apparently considered offering £45 million for Sanchez during the summer and, while Manchester City are expected to make another bid when the window reopens, Arsene Wenger remains reluctant to sell to a Premier League rival.

Tap-ins

- Former Bordeaux goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso was close to joining Arsenal on deadline day, claims L'Equipe. The 35-year-old, who has one cap for France, eventually signed for Galatasaray after blaming agents for botching his move to the Emirates Stadium.

- L'Equipe also reports that Bacary Sagna will decide between a move to West Ham or Leicester City after rejecting an offer from Brighton. The defender has been without a club since his contract at Manchester City expired in June.

- According to the Daily Mail, Jonny Evans will be rewarded with a new £80,000-a-week contract at West Brom. The Baggies rebuffed interest from Arsenal and Manchester City during the transfer window and are delighted with how the centre-back handled the speculation.

- The Telegraph says Diego Costa could return to Chelsea this week, handing Antonio Conte an unwanted headache to deal with. The striker has been included in the Blues' Premier League squad after a move to Atletico Madrid fell through.

- Arsenal's chief transfer negotiator Dick Law is set to leave the club after a shake-up in the recruitment team at the Emirates Stadium. The Telegraph notes that Law is one of Arsene Wenger's closes allies, but will step down following the appointment of former Team Sky legal expert Huss Fahmy.
