Kylian Mbappe: Madrid, United, Arsenal, PSG, City and Liverpool's sales pitch

This article originally appeared on ESPN FC on June 23, 2017.

Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe is the most sought after man in world football.

Marca claimed on Tuesday that Real Madrid had clinched a deal for the 18-year-old but Manchester City remain in the hunt.

Here, we've selected the clubs Mbappe has been linked to the most this summer and ESPN FC's correspondents make their sales pitch as to why Mbappe should choose the team they cover.

You can vote for the club he should join by having your say in the poll below ...

Real Madrid

Play alongside some of the best in the world, against some of the best in the world, in a league where the top sides score goals by the hatful.

Play in front of 80,000 fans at home and travel to some of Europe's most storied stadiums with Champions League football guaranteed every year.

As the world's most expensive player and a presidential purchase, you'll be sure of a start every week under your country's most celebrated player at the world's most famous football club. As well as tripling your money and your title prospects with the double European champions, your international profile will be raised to Ronaldo heights. -- Rob Train

Man United

Manchester United could match any wage packet you're offered this summer. Even from the likes of Real Madrid or Barcelona. More than that, though, there is a chance you could be immediately installed as United's first-choice centre forward.

The obvious comparison is Anthony Martial, who was in and out of the team under Jose Mourinho last season. But Martial wasn't Mourinho's signing. And the demand the United manager places on his wide players was something Martial struggled to come to terms with.

If you joined, you'd play -- especially with a gap in the team after Zlatan Ibrahimovic was released. -- Rob Dawson

Paris Saint-Germain

Since the start of the Oryx Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) project, Paris Saint-Germain have been on the lookout for "the new Lionel Messi."

The latest talent to tick this box is Mbappe and the Ligue 1 giants cannot miss this opportunity. Now is the perfect time for you and PSG to join forces as the French capital outfit need a new talisman on the pitch and a figurehead off it. Your meteoric rise means you need to pick a European club that will make you integral to their project.

If you joined PSG this summer, you will be the team's new star and will be treated as such. In return, you should go on to enjoy a successful and trophy-laden career with your hometown club. -- Jonathan Johnson

Ever heard of Thierry Henry, Kylian? Of course you have. And you know, also, that Henry made a mistake when leaving Monaco to join Juventus. It wasn't until he corrected that mistake and teamed up with Arsene Wenger again at Arsenal that he fulfilled his potential and developed into the best striker in the world.

Everyone says you're the next Henry. That means there's only one place for you to go to build your own legend: Arsenal. Just learn from history and avoid moving to a team that won't make the most of your talents. Wenger will give you the freedom you need to grow at the right pace. And as Henry's move to Barcelona showed, there's plenty of time to play for a Spanish giant once your status as a Gunners legend is secure.  -- Mattias Karen

Man City

A move to Manchester City is the chance to work with the best manager in the world -- Pep Guardiola. A coach who turned Lionel Messi into the world's greatest player and Barcelona into the greatest club team ever. The building blocks are already in place for him to do it again.

An exhilarating, young squad is already taking shape with players like Gabriel Jesus, Leroy Sane, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling having the potential to turn City into a side that can dominate in Europe and the Premier League.

But there is still room for a figurehead, a leading superstar and a player that will go down in history with the greatest ever. That could be you. -- Jonathan Smith

You have the world at your feet, with almost every major club in Europe chasing you. If you fancy playing a supporting role to Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema, then you would almost certainly be the star at Liverpool.

The Reds do have the resources to pay the big bucks, as well as an apparent lure. Virgil van Dijk was prepared to turn down advances from Manchester City and Chelsea in favour of a move to Anfield, proving players are, indeed, interested in Jurgen Klopp's project on Merseyside. -- Glenn Price
