Aubameyang, Dani Alves draw Man City interest; Chelsea ready to spend

Alejandro Moreno contends leaving Juventus for Manchester City wouldn't make sense for Dani Alves.

The football world is awash with gossip! Transfer Talk is monitoring the whispers ahead of all the summer moves. Check out the latest deals and potential deals here.

Aubameyang, Alves could join Man City revolution

It's been a while since Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been in the spotlight, but it's time for him to stride to centre stage again.

Aubameyang is wanted by Manchester City, according to Sky Sports, which says Pep Guardiola "is understood to be an admirer" and adds that City are keeping a close eye on his situation.

The £60 million-rated Gabon international has been strongly linked with Paris Saint-Germain, but City could move quickly after concluding that he is one of "very few high-quality strikers on the market."

And there could even be another high-profile arrival to go with that, with Dani Alves having told Juventus he wants to go "amid interest from City," the Guardian reports.

It says Alves is eager to work with his former Barcelona boss Guardiola again, and his agent has made Juventus "aware of his client's desire to move on."

Full steam ahead for Blues buying bonanza?

With Chelsea optimistic that coach Antonio Conte will extend his contract it could soon be all systems go for the window's transfer plans, according to the Telegraph.

It says that despite reports Conte was considering his position amid concerns about the club's transfer strategy, "there have been positive conversations."

Not only are the Premier League champions confident that they will re-sign striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton, they are also upbeat about the prospect of bringing in midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco.

Juventus left-back Alex Sandro is another on the radar, with the Telegraph adding that "the fact Leonardo Bonucci could be sold by Juventus may test how far Roman Abramovich is willing to back Conte."

It says the coach "would love to sign the central defender, but any deal would cost more than £50m for a 30-year-old."

As if all that wasn't enough, Chelsea are set to enter the race to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to the Mirror, which says they are "ready to take advantage of Arsenal's failure to tie the England midfielder down to a new deal."

Swans' Terry dream could still take off

Speaking of Chelsea, legendary former captain John Terry could yet end up at Swansea, the Mirror reports.

Not long ago it seemed Terry could be off to the south coast, with Bournemouth keen, before Championship side Aston Villa emerged as another possible destination.

But now the Mirror says the defender has held talks with the Swans and adds that his "strong relationship with Swansea boss Paul Clement following their time working together at Stamford Bridge" might be key.

Clement could bring in striker Tammy Abraham from Stamford Bridge on loan but faces a battle to keep midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, a continued target for Everton.

Tap-ins

- Huddersfield Town are stepping up the pace as they prepare for life in the Premier League with talks ongoing over a permanent move for Chelsea midfielder Izzy Brown, who shone for them on loan last season.

The Mail reports that Brown would cost £8.5m "and is keen to continue progressing with the club."

- Championship club Birmingham City are interested in Lens' former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder John Bostock, the Birmingham Mail, citing reports in France, says.

Bostock starred for Lens as they narrowly failed to win promotion to the French top flight, with his performances attracting the attention of Birmingham's former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
