Man United prepare £40m swoop for Dier; Man City offer bait for Sanchez
The football world's gossip mill is in full swing, and Transfer Talk is monitoring the whispers ahead of all the summer moves. Check out the latest deals and potential deals here.
TOP STORY: Man United to make £40 million Dier bid
Manchester United are prepared to pay £40 million for Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier to test Daniel Levy's new policy on maintaining his team's top players, according to the Mirror.
Victor Wanyama's arrival has prevented Dier from playing his holding-midfield role on a regular basis, and it is thought that Jose Mourinho would be able to give him a starring position with Michael Carrick winding down his career.
Dier, 23, signed a contract to extend his stay with Spurs last September, with terms of £50,000 per week.
Mauricio Pochettino will be hesitant to lose Dier due to his versatility and the need to have depth with Champions League football once more on Tottenham's horizon.
Man City offer Denayer as bait for Sanchez
Manchester City hope to win the race for Alexis Sanchez by offering Arsenal defender Jason Denayer in exchange, the Sun reported.
A £50 million deal is being prepared, but City are aware of the Gunners' prior interest in the Belgium international centre-back.
Sanchez has been linked with Juventus, PSG, Chelsea and Bayern, yet Pep Guardiola is keen to work with the Chile international again after their time with Barcelona.
Denayer has suffered an injury-hit season on loan at Sunderland and is keen for a real chance at first-team football, which City are unlikely to offer.
Everton plan double move to start revamp
Ronald Koeman is planning to sign Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez and Ajax star midfielder Davy Klaassen to kick off Everton's revamp this summer, according to the Mirror.
The Toffees have kept a watchful eye on the 21-year-old Malaga man recently during his 14-goal La Liga campaign, and he could be available for a bargain £5 million due to a release clause.
Klaassen, 24, is another key target, with Everton likely to be able to land him for £20 million as they bid to crack the top four under new owner Farhad Moshiri.
PSG Pepe's next destination
Real Madrid's veteran centre-back Pepe is a free agent this summer and according to Spanish TV show El Larguero, his next destination will be PSG.
The Ligue 1 side will offer the Portugal international a two-year deal after he has logged almost 10 years in the Spanish capital and more than 300 appearances in the famous white shirt.
The report details how the 34-year-old has "a foot and a half" in Paris and that he has rejected a lucrative offer from China in favour of remaining in Europe.
-- Diario Sport reports that Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has agreed terms with Barcelona, and is now waiting for the two clubs to agree to a transfer fee. The Spanish outlet also believes that Paris Saint-Germain had put an offer on the table for the 24-year-old, but Coutinho has no desire to move to Ligue 1.
-- Roma have enquired about Stoke midfielder Giannelli Imbula, with the Telegraph reporting that the Giallorossi will take the £18.3 million misfit two years after signing from Porto. The 24-year-old has failed to thrive under Mark Hughes, and the Potters are prepared to accept £10 million to cut their losses.
-- AC Milan are working on a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to French radio station RMC. The Gabon striker will cost no less than €70 million (£58.9 million), with the 27-year-old having scored 75 goals in all competitions for BVB the past two seasons.
