Transfer Rater: Griezmann to Man United, Sandro Ramirez to Tottenham

Rumours
The latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Antoine Griezmann to Manchester United

United's No. 1 transfer target continues to be heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford. However, according to reports, the Red Devils will have to make the French striker the highest paid player in the Premier League if they want to secure his services for next season, and even that might not be enough should United fail to qualify for the Champions League. This season's top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks to have played his last game for the club following his knee ligament injury, with Jose Mourinho desperate to add more goals to his squad having only managed to find the net 51 times so far this term -- the lowest in the top seven.

Sergio Romero to AC Milan

United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is being linked with a move away, with AC Milan reportedly interested in the Argentine stopper as a backup for Gianluigi Donnarumma. The 30-year-old joined United on a free transfer from Sampdoria in 2015 and has made 14 appearances this season, nine of which have come in the Europa League. But Milan face competition for the Argentina No. 1 from city rivals Inter, who are looking for an improved alternative to Samir Handanovic.

Andreas Christensen to Southampton

Chelsea have offered young defender Andreas Christensen to Southampton as part of a deal to sign £50 million-rated Virgil Van Dijk, according to The Sun. The 21-year-old defender is currently on loan with Borussia Monchengladbach and has made 37 appearances this season, but will return to his parent club this month. Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Van Dijk, but Antonio Conte is confident that he will win the race for the Dutchman's signature, with the offer of Christensen enough to get the deal over the line.

Sandro Ramirez to Tottenham Hotspur

Malaga's top scorer Sandro Ramirez has emerged as a top transfer target for Tottenham this summer, Spanish outlet Sport is reporting. The former Barcelona man has scored 15 goals in all competitions for the La Liga side this season, while the Spaniard could be available for just £5.1m thanks to a release clause in his contract. Spurs had been tracking Celtic's striking sensation Moussa Dembele, but with the Scottish champions likely to demand upwards of £40m for the Frenchman, Ramirez could prove to be a much more compelling option for Daniel Levy.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Manchester City

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one of the most sought-after players in Europe right now, with Manchester City the latest club to be linked with a move for the Gabon star. Aubameyang has scored 35 goals for Dortmund this season, with the likes of Real Madrid and Paris-Saint Germain interested in the 27-year-old, but City have reportedly held talks with the German club, and are set to offer 20-year-old striker Kelechi Iheanacho as a part of the deal. Iheanacho has struggled for game time under Pep Guardiola this season, while Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim are also thought to be interested in the Nigeria international.
