Transfer Rater: Serge Aurier to Man United, Arda Turan to Arsenal

Rumours
The latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Serge Aurier to Manchester United

Paris Saint-Germain's Serge Aurier has told Jose Mourinho he wants to join Manchester United, according to L'Equipe. The 24-year-old full-back has been offered a new deal by the French champions but has yet to put pen to paper, alerting United and cross-city rivals Manchester City. Valued at around £16 million, Aurier has courted controversy during his career, but is still a quality player with a bright future.

Corentin Tolisso to Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham have joined the likes of AC Milan, Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to sign Lyon's young midfield starlet Corentin Tolisso. The 22-year-old has impressed for the Ligue 1 side this season, scoring 14 goals in all competitions so far, despite having been previously considered to be more of a defensive midfielder. The France international's current contract runs until 2020 so his services won't come cheap, with €45m being talked about as a potential fee.

Toby Alderweireld to Inter Milan

Tottenham Hotspur's Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld will reject a new contract amid interest from Inter Milan, according to The Sun. The 28-year-old has been a standout performer for Spurs over the last few seasons and is contracted with the north London club until 2020, but there is a £25m release clause that the Suning-backed Serie A side want to take advantage of. Inter are also tracking teammate Kyle Walker, as well as Kostas Manolas and Stefan De Vrij, but Alderweireld is reportedly their No. 1 defensive target.

Joe Hart to Liverpool

Despite Manchester City's goalkeeping problems since his departure on loan, Joe Hart is still expected to leave the Etihad this summer, with Liverpool a likely destination. City will demand £20m for Hart's services, a fee Torino aren't able to afford but that Jurgen Klopp is willing to pay in order to solve his own problems between the posts. Neither Simon Mignolet nor Loris Karius have been able to nail down the first choice keeper role at Anfield, with the England No. 1 representing an upgrade on both of the options.

Arda Turan to Arsenal

Arsenal are close to completing a deal to sign Barcelona's 30-year-old midfielder Arda Turan, according to reports in Turkey. Turan has started just 15 games in all competitions for Barca so far this season, and is expected to be one of the first casualties of a major summer clearout at the Camp Nou. The Gunners are reportedly readying a £25m bid for the player, however with the Catalan giants keen on re-signing full-back Hector Bellerin, the former Atletico Madrid star could be used as a makeweight in a deal for the Spanish defender.
