Chelsea needs £75m to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge

The football world's gossip mill is in full swing, and Transfer Talk is already monitoring the whispers ahead of all the summer moves. Check out the latest deals here.

Chelsea ready to bring Lukaku home

Chelsea are growing increasingly confident of landing Everton forward Romelu Lukaku, with the Mirror reporting the Blues are keen to re-sign the Belgian international.

Lukaku has told the Toffees he will not sign a new contract, though he still has two years remaining on his present deal. Chelsea could be pushed into upping their £57 million bid from last summer, which was rejected.

The 23-year-old has been a revelation this term and joins Harry Kane on 19 goals to lead the race for the Premier League golden boot.

Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid have also been mentioned as potential suitors, with the Toffees previously demanding £75m for their talisman.

Liverpool target Roque Mesa

Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa is being monitored by Liverpool with Marca reporting the Reds could make a move to replace Emre Can, who has yet to sign a new deal at Anfield.

The Canarian has made a name for himself as a ball-winner in La Liga and Julen Lopetegui is even considering a call-up to the Spanish national team.

Everton, Tottenham and Bayern Munich are also interested, while Sevilla have even had an €8 million (£7m) offer knocked back.

The 27-year-old has a €30m release clause, though Los Amarillos are thought to be prepared to do business somewhere around the €10m mark.

Real trio warn of summer departure over lack of minutes

Real Madrid face losing Alvaro Morata, Isco and James Rodriguez this summer reports OK Diario, as the pair are fed up with their bit-part roles under Zinedine Zidane.

The trio are been on the periphery of Zidane's plans this campaign, fleetingly playing and impressing, but never able to hold down a place over a run of games.

Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have been preferred behind the BBC, which means the trio could all move on in search of starring roles elsewhere.

Barcelona eye Matic swoop

Barcelona have identified Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic as a potential target, reports the Express, as they fear missing out on PSG maestro Marco Verratti.

With Andres Iniesta's career winding down and Sergio Busquets showing signs of vulnerability this term, the Blaugrana are making a midfielder a priority this summer.

The Serbian has enjoyed a super season under Antonio Conte, who has rejuvenated him after his blip last term.

A key cog alongside N'Golo Kante, Matic's added physicality and stronger left foot would offer balance to the Catalan side.

- Barcelona technical director Robert Fernandez has made Matic as one potential signing, the Express suggests there are several others who could fill their ideal profile.

Marseille's breakthrough starlet Maxime Lopez is being tracked, while Monaco playmaker Bernardo Silva and Lyon's Corentin Tolisso are also under consideration.

- Eibar defender Florian Lejeune is close to joining Arsenal, with the Express revealing the Gunners could activate the 25-year-old's release clause.

Lejeune joined Eibar from Manchester City in 2015, but could now move back to England under Arsene Wenger if his €10m (£8.7m) release clause is met.

- Inter Milan will sell Ever Banega or Marcelo Brozovic this summer to raise funds to strengthen elsewhere, claims Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri would want around €30-35m for either, as it would help fund Suning's pursuit of Federico Bernardeschi, who is wanted by Atletico Madrid, and Domenico Berardi.

- Lastly, Chelsea starlet Tammy Abraham has been linked with a shock move to Galatasaray, according to the Star.

After a fine spell with Bristol City, Antonio Conte could ask friend, former Juventus teammate and Gala manager Igor Tudor to bring the 19-year-old on even more from next season.
