Chelsea, Arsenal ready to lure Jesse Lingard away from Manchester United
The football world's gossip mill is in full swing, and Transfer Talk is already monitoring the whispers ahead of all the summer moves. Check out the latest deals here.
United braced for Lingard interest
Manchester United face a battle to keep Jesse Lingard, claims the Sun, who detail how Chelsea and Arsenal are ready to move for the winger.
Antonio Conte has a masterful plan to sell the 24-year-old a role as both a wing-back and a forward, with his versatility clearly appealing.
Arsenal also have an interest in the England international as the Red Devils prepare to persuade the youth team product to stay.
Lingard has just one year remaining on his deal and could be available at a cut-price rate come the summer.
Boro slaps £30m price-tag on Gibson
Middlesbrough centre-back Ben Gibson is a major target for Chelsea, with the Express reporting that it will take £30 million for the Blues to win the race for the 24-year-old.
The Boro star is also a target for Manchester City, who have discussed pairing Gibson alongside John Stones at the back.
Despite Aitor Karanka's side scrapping it out at the foot of the Premier League, Gibson has emerged as a fine defender.
With Gary Cahill the wrong side of 30 and David Luiz set to turn 30 next month, adding youth to build Conte's defence of the future is a priority and Gibson is a prime candidate.
LA look to lure Ibra away from Old Trafford
We knew it would take a lot of money to convince Zlatan Ibrahimovic to leave Man United and join the LA Galaxy, but the Express is reporting the striker could expect to earn £15m ($18.25m) a year if he were to move to California.
Having scored 26 goals already this term, Man United surely would have been cut adrift from the race for a top four finish without him.
Ibrahimovic discussed moving to the Galaxy last summer before opting to head to Old Trafford, which suggests the lifestyle could appeal to the 35-year-old.
If United could secure a world-class forward such as Antoine Griezmann, it would soften the blow, but given how well-suited Ibrahimovic has been to English football, Jose Mourinho will surely do everything within his power to keep the veteran for another year.
Madrid set deadline for De Gea
Real Madrid have told David De Gea he must tell them by May whether he wants to head back to Spain, claims the Mirror.
The Manchester United goalkeeper has been phenomenal over the last few years and had a transfer to the Spanish capital in 2015 botched at the last minute. Real, however, have been trying to resurrect the deal ever since.
Should De Gea continue to play his football at Old Trafford, then Zinedine Zidane could land Thibaut Courtois, with the Chelsea shot stopper thought to be his second choice as a high-profile replacement for Keylor Navas.
- Joe Hart has emerged as a shock target for Southampton once his loan move from Torino expires and the England No. 1 returns to Manchester City, claims the Sun.
The Saints are growing anxious that Fraser Forster may opt to leave this summer.
Everton have been suggested as potential suitors for Forster, which would leave Claude Puel targeting his Three Lions teammate as a potential replacement.
- West Ham will swoop for Pablo Zabaleta if his Manchester City contract expires this summer, according to the Mail.
The 32-year-old could offer Slaven Bilic a solution to the headache right-back position, with the former Espanyol defender searching for a longer term deal with better guarantees about playing time after being moved in and out of the City side by Pep Guardiola.
