Football Whispers March 9
The latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic to LA Galaxy

MLS side LA Galaxy are prepared to make Zlatan Ibrahimovic the highest paid player in the league's history, sources have told ESPN FC.

The Manchester United striker's current deal with the club expires at the end of this season and, although there is an option to extend it for another year, the Swede is yet to commit his short-term future to the Red Devils.

United's current top scorer wants a two-year deal, but the Old Trafford hierarchy are thought to be reticent about being tied to a player who will turn 37 during the 2018-19 season.

Eden Hazard to Real Madrid

European champions Real Madrid will fund a move for Chelsea's forward Eden Hazard with the sales of Isco and James Rodríguez, Metro is reporting.

The Belgium international has been back to his best this season, scoring 11 league goals for the Blues, and he is one of Zinedine Zidane's top targets for this summer.

There are even claims that the French coach has already held personal talks with the player.

Franck Kessie to Chelsea

Despite reports claiming that Atalanta's star midfielder Franck Kessie has agreed a deal to join Roma at the end of the season, the 20-year-old's agent is still waiting to see if any better offers come in, according to the Express.

This provides a boost to Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, who had seen the Ivorian as a potential replacement for Cesc Fabregas who has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

Kessie, who has scored six goals in 21 Serie A appearances so far this term, has also attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Maximilian Philipp to Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham will battle it out with north London rivals Arsenal for the signature of Freiburg's 23-year-old attacker Maximilian Philipp.

The German, who has scored 16 goals in 73 appearances for the Bundesliga club, told Sport Bild: "Naturally every player -- including me -- has the dream to play in the Champions League one day.

"England was always my goal. I loved the football and the fans."

However, Philipp went on to say that he thought that the German top division had overtaken the Premier League technically, and that he could 'also imagine staying in Freiburg forever.'

Antonio Rudiger to Chelsea

Chelsea have joined the fight to sign Roma's 23-year-old defender Antonio Rudiger, it has emerged.

The Germany international had previously been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but it is thought that Chelsea, along with Manchester United and Manchester City, are leading the chase.

Chelsea had a bid for Rudiger rejected last summer, and Roma will demand a fee in excess of £30 million for the player.
