Raheem Sterling's one-year-old son shows off football skills, goal celebrations

Manchester City's Raheem Sterling took to his personal instagram account to show off his son's football skills and also his goal celebrations.

Has a future England star just announced himself onto the world stage?

Well, let's not get too ahead of ourselves, but Raheem Sterling's one-year-old son Thiago is already displaying some silky skills.

The Manchester City star posted several videos on Instagram of little Thiago playing football in his kitchen and there was some impressive technique on show, as well as some fancy celebrations.

In the post, Thiago can be seen striking the ball hard and low into an imaginary net, before wheeling away in celebration.

The England winger was clearly impressed, and got involved in the celebrations as he lifted Thiago into the air.

Who knows, after seeing Raheem represent England as a 19-year-old at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, perhaps we could see Thiago turn out for the Three Lions in 2038...

Earlier in the day -- away from the kitchen and back on the field -- Sterling was involved in setting up his side's second goal as City defeated Southampton 3-1 on Sunday to close the gap to leaders Liverpool to seven points.

The Premier League's top two teams meet in Manchester on Dec. 3, in a match which Pep Guardiola has described as "must-win" if City are to retain the title this season.
