Jurgen Klopp excited for Brendan Rodgers showdown in Liverpool vs. Celtic
Jurgen Klopp has referred to Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers as his "landlord" in a light-hearted video message to his predecessor at Liverpool.
The German coach is renting his home in Formby from Rodgers, the man he replaced in the Anfield dugout three years ago.
The Reds are preparing to face Celtic at Parkhead this coming Saturday in the "Match for Cancer" friendly jointly organised by both the James Milner and Stiliyan Petrov foundations.
"It will be fun for sure. Especially because I meet my landlord, I think for the first time since he left Liverpool and I came here," Klopp quipped.
"We have a lot of things to talk about."
He then joked that he is eagerly awaiting the chance to speak to Rodgers, specifically to report issues with the "plumbing, electricity and the pool" that the latter left behind.
Of course, the real question we all want answered is whether Klopp still has Rodgers' large painting of himself hanging up, pride of place on the wall in the entrance foyer.
